What if he refuses to sit still - for the record, I fully expect them to misbehave and not sit still, I am a mum of three myself and I specialise in photographing little people. I know them well.
You've always got your phone out taking photographs of the kids, as mums one of things we do best! Dads are never the photo takers, its always us! Not that we mind at all, but it you'd be reallllly nice to be in afew photos of the kids from time to time. EVEN BETTER if its one we feel comfortable enough to out and get printed and maybe even... heaven forbid...put it in a little desk frame in the hall.
I really hope some of you do that. Well done for getting that organised, but, I don't think thats good enough. You deserve so much more.

I can even arrange for a professional make up artist to attend for your session should this make you feel more comfortable. Who doesn't love a bit of luxury pampering? I don't think I've ever met a mum that didn't!
I completely understand your desire for beautiful family photographs, yet at the same time the thought of organising it all can seem a bit much.
